For use with the Item Scanning feature, bar code scanners make item processing quick and easy.
Tracker Products software is designed to work with a wide variety of bar code scanners. The selections below are currently the only ones sold and supported by Tracker Products, but many others will work just fine. Symbol DS6707 USB bar code scanner
Replaces the Symbol LS4208.
The flexible Symbol DS6707-HD is capable of reading virtually every type of bar code, from high density and low contrast marks to 1D, 2D and PDF417 bar codes and images.
Connected to a computer via a USB cable (approximately six feet), this scanner is ideal for use at a stationary computer.

Symbol DS6878 wireless scanner
This is a great wireless bluetooth device for processing items on the go, with a range of up to fifty feet from a paired computer. It costs about twice as much as the Symbol LS1203 USB scanner but allows for greater mobility and doesn't need to be physically tethered to a computer.
