System switches
There are many back end switches available in the Tracker system. Most of these options are NOT available from within the web interface of the program. In most cases they will have to be set by Tracker support personnel or your IT staff. We are listing them on this page so that you can see what is available.
Most Common Switches for User Interface
These items are certainly the most common switches that will effect the overall user experience with the system. In almost every case the default system switch will be applicable to most of our users. If you need to turn any of them on/off just let us know.
- Multi_Location - Turn on or off all multiple agency features (Default ON)
- Temp_Locker - Turn on or off temporary lockers (Default ON)
- Show_Lab - Turn on or off lab forms (Default ON)
- Reason_Out - Drop down list or manual text entry list (Default Drop Down)
- Issued_To_Drop_Down - Issued To drop down or text box: if this is set to a drop down it is still a text box but drops down the user list when typing (Default Drop Down)
- Use_Disposition_Code - Turns on and off dispo codes (Default OFF)
- Server_Time_Zone - 1 = EST, 2 CENt, ETC (Default EST)
- Use_Case_Level_Permissions - Turns on case level permissions (Default ON)
- Allow_No_Case_Items - Allows adding items without cases (Default OFF)
- Only_Allow_Items_In_Lowest_Locations - Forces items to be stored in locations without sub locations (Default ON)
- Display_Agency_Location - Show the agency name when showing the location of an item (Default ON)
- Allow_Add_View_Any_Agency - Allows add only evidence users to view access in any agency (Default ON)
- Auto_Print_Custody_Receipt - Turns on custody receipts during in system transaction Example PDF (Default ON)
- Show_Custom_Item_Lists - Turns on custom item lists (should always be on in v6) (Default ON)
IT / Technical Switches
- SMTP_Error - No longer in use
- SMTP_Address - mail server address
- eAlert_From - ealert email sender address
- Userfiles_Path - path to userfiles root folder
- Num_Of_Items_Displayed - max number of items displayed per page (usually 100)
- Master_Person_List - turns on and off master person list
- Allow_Duplicate_Split_Items - allows duplcating mass items which are split
System Alerts
- eAlert - ELARTS TURNED ON
- eAlert_viaWindow - EALERTS via tab in system
- eAlert_viaEmail - EALERTS via email
- eAlert_Admin - admin ealerts
- eAlert_Password - password fail ealerts
- eAlert_Aged - aged ealerts
- eAlert_Aged_Days - number of days for aged alert
- eAlert_Audit - audot ealerts
- eAlert_ItemRequest - turns on item request ealerts
PDA Stuff
- PDA_Sync - system uses a PDA
- PDA_FilesPath - Path to PDA directory
- PDA_Archive_FilesPath - Path to archive directory
- PDA_Sig_FilesPath - path to signatures directory
- PDAPassword - stores pda password
- PDAUsername - stores pda username
Other Less Used Switches
- LogCaseNum - Lognumber/Casenumber Option
- AutoNum - NEED TO TURN ON IF USING LOG instead of CASENUM
- CheckInLoc2 - NO LONGER IN USE (sub locations)
- LabelType - No longer in use (label exists in userfiles)
- StateLabCode - NO LONGER IN USE
- QuickSearchAll - allows searching all fields at once when quick searching (KEEP OFF)
