Performing transactions with a desktop bar code scanner
Using a tethered or wireless desktop scanner, you can perform check-ins, check-outs, moves, dispositions or inventories directly in the system. While the PDA device does provide mobility when performating these same transcations, in most day to day work a tethered or wireless device is best.
Perform transactions
1. Click on in the top menu and select OR click the Scan Item button on the Quick Menu.
2. Options
- Item Lookup - Scan a barcode which will open that item in the View Tab.
- Perform Transcation - Check in, check out, move or dispose of an item.
- Inventory - Scan all items in a location(s) to run a discrepancy report for errors.
- Manage Barcodes - This is a Tracker support page and should not be modified.
