Performing a quick search

The Quick Search tab is the basic search feature built within the system. It will allow you to search for specific keywords that are used in the system. The drop down menus allows you to search through specified fields within the system. Users can select the dates from which they'd like to search, location, and whether or not they'd like to see items that are active or archived. The results of the search are item based. That is, your results will show items that are associated with your search.
If your search query renders results, you will encounter a screen like the one below.

From this page, you can update an item, view the item, or check it in or out.
