Accidental item entry correction
There are going to be instances where a user accidentally enters a item in to the system. Since items can't be removed from the system, leaving a gap in your item numbers, you can mark a item accidentally entered. If you need to remove the item then you can delete the entire case and start over. If you are fine with marking an item accidentally entered follow these steps.
- Go to the Tools drop down menu.
- Select Accidental Item from the list.
- Type in the case you want to work with.
- Select the item you want to mark accidentally entered and click Ok.
If your View tab has been setup to show the Location field then you will see the item has been market Accidentally Entered.
Note: If you do not see the indication that the item has been accidentally entered then please check your Item Display Customization for the Location option.
