Modify a case/project, person or item

Modifying information in an existing case/project, person or item

Update a case/project, person, or item

1. Click the 'Update Case' icon on the quick menu.

Enter the name of the case/project you wish to edit and click submit.

2. By default, the case submission screen is in lock mode. To unlock and edit it, click the Unlock and update button.

3. To update persons or items within the case, click on the appropriate tab and select the information that you wish to modify.

For more information about locked items in the Tracker Products system, visit the item locks page in the support library.

For more information about how updates are recorded within the Tracker Products tracking system, refer to the advanced logging page in the support library.

View tab update

You can also perform updates on cases, persons and items by using the View Tab. Click on the View tab, enter the case number and click the 'Edit' icon next to the case, person or item you wish to update.
