Add pictures or documents
Attach pictures and documents to cases or items in your tracking system. For law enforcement agencies, this could mean pictures of crime scenes or criminal evidence. For museums, this could mean pictures of paintings and sculptures. Whatever it is your organization tracks, digital pictures can help to identify specific items and improve your overall tracking experience.
There are multiple methods for adding digital pictures/documents to your cases/projects or items.
From the quick menu
1. Click the 'Add Pictures' icon on the Tracker Products quick menu. Enter the name of the case/project you would like to add pictures to (If a case/project is active, you will be automatically directed to add pictures/documents to the active case).
You can also click on 'Edit' dropdown in the top menu and scroll down to 'Add pictures/documents'
2. Click the 'Add New' link to the right of the case/project or item you would like to attach the picture or document to.
3. Click the button and navigate to the file you wish to attach to your case/project or item.
Enter a short description for your new picture/document and click the button when you are finished.

Notice in this screen shot that item number one in this case has a file called 100bill_1.jpg attached to it. You can click the file name to view the file or image. The red 'X' to the right will allow you to remove the picture.
We do not recommend attaching every picture from a crime scene to an item. This feature is intended to give users a quick item preview. Many organizations save important digital photographs relating to a case to a CD/DVD and then add it as a separate item in the case.
